What are 'points'? (as level)

I've been given a grade and 'points' for both my linear courses and i have no idea what they mean and so have no idea how close i was to the grade up? 120 (B) and 105 (C)
I really want to know too
Need to know very confused, says I got 120 points and got a B but online says 100 points is an A (AQA)

Well that just make me depressed
The new tarrif for UCAS is a lot lower my quads are worth 420 under the old system and are now worth 127 under the new system so no those are not the UCAS points
