Lancaster 2016

Hi! So I accepted my offer from Lancaster to study history and I'll be staying in Bowland. I'm from Wales and I'm nervous for university but excited still!
Just wondering what people are studying and where you're staying and where you're from. I hope everyone got the results they wanted. I hope we can get to know each other a bit :smile:

I'm actually a mature student who has returned to study recently (hence popping up on a student forum!). I did my first degree 1994-1997 at Lancaster - I was in Bowland and did English. I just wanted to wish you well - I LOVED it and had the best three years there, it was awesome. I hope you have a great experience there too. Do you still get to choose three subjects in your first year? I loved that. I did Culture and Communications and Chinese for a year, I really liked being able to try out different subjects even though I ultimately went on to specialise in the subject I originally applied for.
