College help!

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me.

I recently recieved my GCSE grades, and was not to pleased with the outcome, this meant my dream college has offered me 'BTEC Level 3 Science', but I'm not too sure what that means in terms of career wise. Since I was younger I've always known I would like to be a doctor and study medicine, will I still be able to with a BTEC Level 3 in Applied Science?

Please help!
