oh that might be it, im conditional, sent copies of results as of january (which was more than enough for my offer) but i guess they may wait till results day?

As far as I remember, I wasn't confirmed what halls I got until I was accepted a place when I got my results.

I was in JW though.

I remember when I applied, they seemed to send the accomodation in 2 lots. My things always seemed to come a few days later than that of most people on here, so a bit of patience :-) And... They don't wait until results day, they'll allocate you all places now, and then those that don't get into the uni, their place seems to go to the people who had Portsmouth as a 2nd choice I think. One girl in my flat in the first year had portsmouth as a 2nd choice and only last minute got halls!
