Worth studying law if you're not at Russell Group?

I recently had a flop on my A levels, due to a cocky attitude combined with laziness, I ended up lacking the grades I needed to go to my first choice university.
I got a place in my back up Manchester Met, but due to a large ammount of posts ive seen on TSR, I'm starting to fear that studying law at a university like MMU just isn't worth it in the end. Is this true?

This might give you an insight into what firms really think about non-RG unis, but honestly - uni is what you make of it. If you excel, get a first, take part in endless extra curriculars and have fun, then of course it is worth it :-)
