hmm I think we have to memorize those salts crap like: Sodium Chloride ,Potassium Chloride... and so on. But I think they wont ask this. THEy never do!.. we might get to fill the gaps in the equation... not sure though. If u want to make sure ur A* ... write the common Acid,Alkali and salts down and find a silly pattern to it(helps u to memorize B6 stuff haha).. and u should be fine! :wink:

I can't do this, i hate chemical synthesis, none of it makes sense. I'm learning things rather than revising them, because our teachers were terrible!

Ur beloved formulae of Salts table , only for u - there u go...haha

Group Salt
Group 1 Sodium Chloride - > NaCl
Group 1 Potassium Chloride -> KCl
Group 1 Sodium Carbonate -> Na2CO3
Group 2 Magnesium sulfate -> MgSo4
Group 2 Magnesium Carbonate -> MgCO3
Group 2 Magnesium Oxide -> MgO
Group 2 Calcium Carbonate -> CaCO3
Group 2 Calcium Chloride -> CaCl2

..now u only have to find a pattern! LIke with the letters or something like that.

Here are some acids:

Common Acids
Nitric Acid - > HNO3
Sulfuric Acid -> H2SO4
Hydrochloric acid -> HCL

Common Alkalis

Sodium hydroxide - >NaOH
Potassium Hydorxide -> KOH
Magnesium Hydroxide -> Mg (OH)2
Calcium Hydroxide -> Ca(OH)2

HEHEH donnu.. use colours, music,tribals dance, food (ahah) .... cards ? Repeat the sentence 5 times.... but dont forget to take a rest cos if u dont take a time u'll end up with a big headache at the end of the day! ;p

I thought it was quite easy.. *jinkes self*
Now I've said that watch when I get a D. But yeah, I'm pleased. I finished it in 15 mins and got weird looks from the invigilators lol
