How many hours of lessons for A Levels?

Hi,

I've been searching online to find the answer to this question, but can't seem to find it, so can anyone tell me many hours of lessons (without outside study) there are for each A Level subject-weekly.

I have 300 minutes (5 hours) of lessons each week with each lesson being 1hr 15 minutes long and I take 3 A Levels but did take 4 AS Levels. It means I get 10 hours of free time a week in college, which is good.

5 hours a week for each subject for me, each lesson is 1 hour. general studies AS is 1 hour a week.

5 hours a week - lessons are between 30 and 90 mins long.

My upper sixth timetable had 5 hours a week for both Computing and Physics , 3 hours for Further Maths (couldn't afford to put on five hours a week for three people).I had two hours of form time and two hours of core making around 17 hours a week for me last year.I think many sixth forms will set 5 hours a week per subject excluding GS+CT which will get lumped into some core program somehow.

Depends what school your at. At mine it's 4 hours per subject though I mostly wouldn't go for the full four! Most schools its 5 or even longer.

We do 2 doubles one week, the same 2 doubles the next week and 1 single (the single would be a free in the first week). So 9 hours a fortnight.

Lol, i feel slack. 2 doubles and a single each week with a lesson being 50mins...just over 4 hours a week per lesson.

4 hours and 40 mins for each subject. Each double period is 1 hour and 10 minutes long.

9 hours a fortnight for mine so 4 and a half hours a week.

Mine is 9 hours fortnightly for AS, then it goes down to 8 hours fortnightly for A2 (per subject btw and critical thinking is only 5 fortnightly!)

12.5 Per Week 3 A Levels

5 hours a week for me although in A2 we had reduced hours for french coz only 6 of us did itQ

5 hours split into 3 and 2 hour lessons for each subject.

5 hours per timetabled subject a week.
At AS i did 4 subjects, so 20 hours a week with 5 hours worth of Free's.

I get 9 hours a week for each of my subjects!
You lot seem to gte significantly less teaching time than Northern Irish students do.

I have 6 x 50 minutes a week for each subject.
