Japan: MEXT Postgraduate Application Confusion
Hi, I want to apply for the Japanese government's MEXT scholarship to study for a PhD in Electronic Engineering.
The application forms for this year are available, and I'm struggling to work out how to write my time at university. I'm doing an integrated MEng, so am therefore working towards a Master's level qualification, however, I won't receive a BEng along the way, and will remain an undergraduate student.
The categories for the application are "Tertiary(Higher) Education (Undergraduate)" and "Tertiary(Higher) Education (Graduate)". Whilst it is technically an undergraduate degree, the only option for degree attained is to put bacher-level, which would be wrong.
Has anyone had an experience of this and could offer any advice? Thanks
