UCL postgrad

So im currently a second year psychology undergraduate student. My ultimate goal is to become a neuropsychologist or specialise in this field. As part of the journey, i need to obtain a doctorate in clinical psychology and would really like to study my postgraduate at UCL. However, the university im currently attending isn't quite prestigious- low ranking etc. I was wondering if this will effect my chances of getting in? What can enhance my chances of going to UCL? Any tips, please do share. Thank you in advance

Experience! You can't learn anything better than the place where it happens. Even if it's a low-ranking uni, I'm sure they offer career opportunities and chances to make connections. I'd suggest experience with wards, shadowing doctors who deal with mental illness, taking part in charities that help with these issues (volunteering for a hotline) and getting involved with things in the local community surrounding mental health. Someone who shows interest and dedication outside of a classroom shows potential. Hope this helped!
