Writing a course withdrawal letter?

I'm currently trying to write a withdrawal email from a course that I'd accepted to go study on but now won't be as a better one came up. I can't find any forms or info on the school's website about how to do it so I'm just going to email the person that sent me the offer letter.
Any tips on how to word this letter properly?

You are posting in the postgrad forum, but mention school. Are you rejecting a postgrad place you previously accepted, or is this a school issue?

Postgrad courses are routinely accepted and then rejected later. It's just a straightforward email saying you will no longer be able to attend and are giving up your offer, to whoever the process has been run by so far.
