Hi there i have just recieved my gsce mock results percentages and I'm curious to know what grades these would be? We do edexcel for every subject

English Language 98%
English Literature 70%
Mathematics F 12%
Re 58%
History 69%
Geography 83%
Combined science F 23%
Media studies 34%
Spanish 78%
F indicates foundation

No-one can help because we don't know which paper you sat or how well the teacher followed the mark scheme.

Oh. Sadly, nobody can help as the grades are based on what you got compared to the national average. Basically, to convert your percentages, they have to know what everybody in year 10 got and align your results with everyone else’s. As year 10s don’t take official GCSEs, it would be pointless to go through that long procedure. Instead, you might as well use the grade boundaries from 2019 and compare from that.

Wow ur English language is amazing! How did you revise for it? I’m pretty strong on other subjects but I struggle a lot with creative writing in English. Any tips? Or examples of you wouldn’t mind sending them? I’m happy to switch examples for other subjects :smile:
