How about for serious faults

It depends on the fault, an instance I might give is if you were to stop past the stop line at a red traffic light some examiners may let you go halfway across it, others may say any breach is serious. There is no guidance for examiners for this, it is purely judgement and many longer serving examiners may default to a certain view without regarding the circumstances. With the manoeuvre, some may allow 3 adjustments some may only allow 2. Some people may allow you to stop in a bus stop or disabled parking bay, others may not etc. It’s in some ways up to the personal interpretations of the Highway Code and what is and is not safe.
