Westpoint Manchester accommodation 2022

Hi I was wondering if anyone else has applied for Westpoint student accommodation for September 2022? Since I'm living in a studio I would love to get to know potential neighbors as I'd still love a social life! I'll be studying at Universty of Law Manchester campus for a business foundation degree :smile:

Ah awesome! I've booked a medium studio, my uni choices keep changing between ones in the area but it'd be nice to meet new people. It's kinda scary social wise not doing halls for year one but I prefer having my own space to cook etc 😊

I’m planning to book a compact studio which is pretty cheap considering it’s a studio in my opinion. My flatmates from first year put me off from living with other people so here I am, haha. I get what you mean, I’m sure there’s other people out there in Westpoint looking for a social life too :smile:

Hey guys, I’m moving in a few weeks. Just wanted to ask does anyone know the fridge / freezer situation or the oven? I can see from the pictures there’s a microwave but no oven, also not sure if there’s a freezer, if anyone knows it’ll be very helpful x

Hey guys I’m moving into a compact studio apartment at Westpoint too on 3/9. Im studying my final year of adult nursing. I was also wondering what the oven situation is like in the compact studios because I enjoy my cooking a lot but there only seems to be a microwave in the photos. I’ve also heard that it’s a oven/microwave combination but I don’t know what these a like.

When you find out let me know, I love cooking but I don't know if a microwave oven is convenient. Do you know the fridge situation? Do we have a freezer included?

I’m in Westpoint in 2022 as well, got a medium studio. I’m doing a degree apprenticeship with Manchester Met and BT in UX design, so it’d be nice to know people in the building as I won’t get as much socialisation as the other students. :smile:
