UCL

My current predicted grades don’t meet the entry requirements and they are very low in terms of the grades UCL set for Medical physics. If I call them up and tell them about the situation that I’m confident I would have the grades on the results day would they give me an offer for medical physics or if I call them on the results day ?
It is unlikely that universities will make an exception for admission with poor GCSE grades, as they typically use those grades as an indicator of a student's academic ability. However, it is possible that extenuating circumstances such as illness or personal issues may have affected your performance in those exams. If this is the case, it may be worth mentioning these circumstances in your application and during any communication with the university's admissions office. Ultimately, the best way to find out if you will be considered for admission is to contact the university directly and ask about their admissions policies.
