UK students who completed their PHD in the USA
I'm finishing a masters in Sound Design having completed my undergraduate degree in Electronical Engineering. My aim is to move onto a PHD somewhere in the realm of computer science & sound/music.
I would be very interested in moving to the US in order to do this, but I don't know how easy/feasible that is when coming from the UK.
To those who have moved to the USA for postgraduate study. Are there any obstacles that you faced, financial or otherwise?
Did you manage to source funding in the US or the UK?
Was there any trouble with VISA stuff?
