Virgin Atlantic Engineering Apprenticeship 2023

Hi, I'm really just looking for some advice

I've always wanted to be a pilot, I applied for the TUI pilot cadet programme but got rejected. And as my 'main course' for the last 2 years I've been studying A Level Chemistry Biology Geography, and I applied to Medicine but got rejected... So my plan is to apply for dentistry next year. I don't really care what career path I go down, but I obviously do one to get an insight into something which would dictate a lot of how the rest of my life goes.

Does anyone have any information about what it's like to be an engineer at virgin atlantic, I've tried to reach out to some on Linkedin but I'm not getting replies. Also, please can you tell me if I'm being delusional, thinking about applying for an engineering apprenticeship without taking Maths or Physics at A Level. I only took them up to GCSE level. Thanks
