To what does "aps" refer in this context?

Are we talking about the "average point score" from an International Baccalaureate? Or perhaps we're talking about the APs (Advanced Placement exams) used in the US / Canada?

Given that you've posted this in the Scottish Qualifications forum, I suspect that neither of the above is correct. I just don't recall ever having seen a UK university specifying it's entry requirements in terms of "aps" before.
