can i ask my apprenticeship provider for software engineering to instead fund me?

so i have an offer to study computer science at a good university but i don't want to waste my money. can i negotiate with my apprenticeship provider if i get in?

So are you saying you don't do an apprenticeship but instead go to university and ask them to sponsor? To be honest I'm not sure if many companies would agree if they don't already have a scheme for that sort of thing, but I guess there's no harm in asking.
