Life after college

I’m currently in my second and last year of college and will be leaving soon, I’ve decided that I don’t want to go to uni and that I want to do an apprenticeship specifically a teaching assistant one. However I’m scared if things don’t work out and I’ll be left with no back up plan because of the fact I don’t have a job. Throughout my years at college I’ve never had a part time job, I’ve applied continuously everywhere but I’ve always been rejected. my cv is great so I don’t understand everyone my age (18) has a job and So I just feel really out of place at the moment.

why don't you take a gap year to think things out and during that apply for a part time job like locally maybe they'll give you a job or mc Donald's will probably hire anyone; then till you find a better job stay there as temporary. I'd say explore your choices and get some experience that can help with personal statement.
