Bioscience Grad Jobs

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody else finds it impossible to find relevant job listings as a graduate aside from the few grad schemes in the field which are super competitive. There seems to be no inbetween of jobs which only require GCSEs and jobs which need x years of work experience post degree, at least in the city I want to work in.

Is it worth going for the jobs which I am now 'overqualified' for to get the experience or is it just a matter of holding out for a listing that matches my experience level.

A lot of the larger healthcare / medical tech / pharma companies are going through major restructuring and redundancies this year. I expect there to be less job vacancies overall.
