I don’t think they recruit under the age of 18 some hours maybe unsocial hours considered night shifts and stuff and you’d have to be 18 or over to work those

Yes you can start working with Tesco at 16 but will be restricted with certain things until you are 18.
Supermarkets and other retailers start taking people on from 16 years old.
Only boots that will employ young people from the age of 15 but again with restrictions okay until 18.

Unfortunately people can work there from age of 16 but will be restricted with certain areas due to being under 18.
