English speaking exam

hey all

I've got my gcse english speaking and listening exam next week and I have no idea what to make my speech about? does anyone have any ideas for topics?

thanks!
Hey!
I'm a student ambassador here at Coventry University
I'm unsure if the spec has changed since I carried out my English speaking was speaking about something you're passionate about! I know it sounds obvious but the more interested you are in a topic the more confident you'll be off the bat - And you'll get more marks for eye contact, body positioning etc. So here are a few top tips of mine
1. Find something you're interested in
2. Don't underestimate the power of good eye contact and body language
3. If possible, speak of experiences you have had.

In terms of topics, It'll all be based on what topics interest you the most and what you know more about. Here are some I found online;
Talk about your favourite band/singer.
Talk about a hobby that interests you.
Speak for or against a motion
You could discuss cruelty to animals in travelling circuses.
You could discuss a particular culture or country that interests

Kind regards and good luck!
