Extremely scared for my little cousin

my little cousin (female) is around 7/8 years of age.
we went on holiday with their family and I noticed that she was doing these ticks/twitches with her head for 20 mins. She had a head band on, and we took it off and she stopped doing the twitches. This holiday was in April. she hasn’t twitched since then. However on the weekend, we visited them and I noticed she was doing it again. And she didn’t stop. She never stopped and kept on twitching for hours and hours. Her parents were really concerned at that point and booked her for an appointment with the GP for next week. She is doing these twitches more and more and it’s making me so upset as I don’t want anything bad to happen to her as I feel like I also raised her.
She’s now moving her head like those bobble head toys continuously and I’m really really scared I’ve been crying.

She is a bit obese for her age, so she was put on this keto diet by the school services/government (idk what they’re called but those children food health specialists) so she definitely hasn’t been eating as much as normal, especially little carbs

She also bought this new trampoline and her mom is quite strict.
So I was thinking what if she banged her head on the sides of the trampoline and didn’t tell her mother because she was too scared?
Don't stress! Chances are it's something non-serious like ADHD or Tourettes. Try not to jump to the worst conclusions and just wait to see what the GP says.
