Laptops for university

Interested in advice from anyone studying aeronautical engineering at Salford, hoping to be there in September will be obtaining a new laptop before I arrive. Just wondered who’s done or is currently on the course would recommend any specs or is there any special requirements for the course?

Great to hear you're looking at studying with us! We don't have specific requirements for laptops for our aeronautical engineering, so I'd say pick the laptop that fits your budget the best! If you're needing any particular software we'll have it available for you as a student for free, so you don't need to worry about buying software either (including office 365!).
