1 year Medical Internship Programme

Hello,

I am an international medical graduate, I am looking to complete a 1 year medical internship programme, so I can apply to the GMC for full registration, where around the world offers one year medical internships? That would satisfy the GMCs requirements.

Hi, I've moved your thread to the current medical students and doctors forum so you can hopefully get some responses from medics with experience in this area :smile:

I would presume the F1 year of the foundation programme in the UK would meet this requirement? Not sure if that is an option or if as an IMG you need to do the 1 year internship elsewhere before beginning training in the UK?
