Depends - are you talking about numeracy and literacy tests?
This is usually if you don't have the GCSE qualifications in English and Maths

The more detail you can give me, the better here

I have GCSEs in maths and English . I keep seeing that they have scrapped it but then I saw that rather than just having three attempts the test can be done as many times as long as it’s before the course ends so 🤷🏿*♀️

Have you come to the end of a PGCE course or are you starting one in September?

Yes the standard QTS Literacy and Numeracy tests are a thing of the past is my understanding. I didn't have to do one and I trained in 2020/21.
It's something that once you start the course you can just make sure doesn't have to be done. The staff at the university should guide you through all the required paperwork (there will be a lot).

That is good to hear as that was quite stressful when I did it back in 2015 and was barred for two years because I failed maths 3 times . So this is great news . Did you have to do anything else as an alternative??

Some unis have little tasks for you to do at interview, like a maths test if you want to teach maths. I had to write a letter to a parent (I specialised in History).
