MMI INTERVIEW (Uclan) medicine

Hello,
I'm an international student in the midst of preparing for an MMI interview at Uclan. Does anybody have any advice on the kind of questions that could be asked?
Hey there, thanks for posting a question in the Medicine forum.

The Medicine forum gets a high volume of questions being posted, and some of these are already answered by the resources and Megathreads that members of the community and volunteers have created. This is an automatic post which is designed to highlight these resources. Below is a list of threads and articles that could answer your question (you should be looking in the original post of the megathreads). If one of the below threads is a more relevant place to ask your question, please post a reply in that thread to ask your question. If your query is answered by one of the Megathreads or articles linked below, and you would like us to close this thread for you, please reply to this thread with just the words "thank you". Discussion of the details of interview questions is against TSR and the med school's rules

hi, i’ll be giving my mmi interview this week. it would be great if you could tell the types of questions they asked you
Hey Guys,

Best of luck on your MMIs! Take it one station at a time  My top tips would be:

1.

Learn about the course structure and the amenities that the university has to offer, for example in UCLan we have early patient contact and an anatomise table.

2.

Learn about the four pillars of ethics: beneficence, nonmaleficence, autonomy, and justice

3.

Ensure you are able to speak about your work experience, and how the skills you learned will make you a better doctor.

4.

Learn about the common medical dilemmas like organ donation, the use of robotics in medicine, etc https://www.medicmind.co.uk/medicine-ucas-guide/interview-questions-nhs-hot-topics/

I have also attached a link to a video I made with all the tips surrounding MMis : https://youtu.be/l6BZOpc7Gsc?si=CXgXqeQtBjfp9H9z

Best of luck,

Nobody can discuss the content of an interview, it is against the med school and TSR's rules

Yes, everyone wants to know what the questions will be, but those who have done an interview will be breaching confidentiality if they tell you and those that haven't have no more idea than you. Plus it is against TSR rules to discuss interview questions
