Is it okay for me to quote a few lines from a book i've read and then to reflect upon it
Ive heard its frowned upon by admissions tutors but i think the context in my case makes it okay because im extending upon the quotes with my own opinions rather than hiding behind the original opinion
Also i think by quoting it theres evidence ive read the book

It's ok but it's not really a good idea

Your PS is about your interest in the subject - it isn't an academic essay. The topic of your PS is YOU so using up multiple lines to quote a book isn't very helpful
