Fixed term role or permanent?

Hi everyone, I am confused now for my career choice. I got two job offer, one as Supplies Coordinator for a hospital and the other one is Customer Specialist for council. The hospital job pay less , you have to work onsite but it is permanent. The council job pays better, you can wfh but it is 1 year fixed term contract. I like council job more but it is just fixed term contract and I am not sure about extension after at Council. Can you guys please give me some advice or if anyone has any experience in any of these job? Thanks very much xx

Most people have permanent jobs, it makes life much more secure. If you have a FTC you will have to start job hunting in about 6 months time, to make sure you have secured another job for the end of your contract.

Both those organisations are good places for rehiring though, so if you do a good job, you can move on within both.
