The Student Room Group

I am a 16 year old boy. Which winter coat should I buy?

I have recently started sixth form and my old winter coat doesn't fit. My old winter coat was a mens coat from New Look, so I went into my local New Look shop yesterday, but I couldn't find any mens coats that I liked. As I was walking out of the shop, I noticed the womens coats and saw two coats that I really liked. I tried them both on and they fit comfortably with lots of room to wear a jumper underneath. I want a coat that looks unisex, as I don't know what my parents will say if they realise I am wearing a womens coat. I have uploaded links to the coats. Which of these coats looks more like a unisex coat?

A woman's coat is cut to have a sort of hourglass shape. If you're comfortable feminising your silhouette I'd say to go for the one that doesn't have the belt. Alternatively, order a jacket that better suits your needs on the New Look website instead?

i think the first looks best, the belt makes it look more feminine but its also not that noticeable compared to the other

Not the second one as it has a female-style method of overlap
neither, wear mens.
