Maths, Computer Science, Psychology

why do you need one ?

I didn't get the results I wanted for the uni course I wanted to do, I decided to take a year out to do some work, travel and I wanted to study to retake them next year in the hope of getting better grades

same here lad the best thing is just to actually put in the work we didn't put in last two years you could also get a tutor which would help you but honestly most resources are available online

Thanks, that's really helpful, I think I just made the wrong choice to stay at the same place for 6th form and lost interest, I should have done much better, can't change that now, just need to crack on and do better
Have you applied, or let anyone know that you're going to retake them or do you do that later?
Also, for applying for Uni courses how would it work to apply for 2024 courses as obviously I won't be given any predicted grades if I'm not at college, so I'm in the same situation that I have worse predicted grades from last year and the same actual grades?

yeah man sixth form was more like to socialise than to study honestly I don't even know I asked my school yesterday I sent an email to them honestly after speaking to most retakes studt apparently they give you the old predicted grades idk if they will give it to me tho I was predicted all As but if they won't I will probably speak with a private tutor or tuition centre and with the teacher reference I already have them all I will still use the same ones what do you think?

Hi, How are you resitting A Level CS? MY school didnt do resits and aqa comp sci isnt open to private candidates. So have to do OCR but cant seem to find one that does OCR Cs.
