how to get A in alevel chem

I wanted to ask whether anyone has any tips on how to get a grade for a a-level chem because I keep getting grades c and I have asked my teacher and she tells me to keep practising however I have been practising and I am still stuck on the same grade any tips would be helpful on how to improve.
