Hi, this is the University of Aberdeen rep account. Not sure what you mean necessarily by time period, but typically a Postgraduate LLM degree lasts for a year. Some universities do offer a part time option which would then be studied over two years. The only thing that's worth being aware of with this is that part-time options can sometimes not be compatible with student visas if you are an international student.
The best thing to do would be to contact the institution you are interested in studying at for an absolute answer on this when you decide on what programme you are interested in. Hope this is helpful! Let us know if you have any questions about our LLM programmes.
