would i be able to transfer
im a first year student studying a general design course, it’s really broad and you get a lot of freedom. i want to transfer to a different uni to do interior design. i have a portfolio and i know a lot about the subject, would they let me transfer to second year even if i didn’t do my first year on an interior design course ?

There’s no simple answer other than to apply and find out. If the learning outcomes of your current degree are a close enough match and your portfolio shows that you’re working at the right level then you will get an offer.
