Oxford University Entry Requirements to be raised by admissions tutors?
Why do Oxford have AAA entry requirements for so many courses?Because most of the candidates interviewed and admitted/accepted achieve A * A A or A * A* A or A* A* A* or more?!
Overall Numbers, including Domicile | University of Oxford
I suppose because their offer rate is low and if they determine they want to make you an offer, the grades are a bit of an irrelevance at that point. IE. They don't want to then reject you because you obtained A*AA rather than A*A*A.
