Do you mean at the University of Hertfordshire? Have you looked at https://www.herts.ac.uk/life/student-accommodation ?

It's possible that people are not responding due to it being the Christmas/New Year break.

I think you'd need to contact local letting agencies. If UoH has an accommodation office, they might be able to provide a list.
