random question but i live in the uk with an american citizenship, would the application process be as international student or? 😭😭

The simple answer is, no, you do not apply as an international student. Individual circumstances may vary ( e.g. how long have you lived outside the US, etc), so it's better to check with an institution you are applying for.

It depends on the Uni requirements. Some are test optional. If you have potential for good scores you can do SAT in UK and submit. If scores are lower then you may decide not to if the Uni is test optional.
And yes, definitely contact the individual colleges. If you are doing A levels I suspect you would count as International, and out of state for tuition. Just the visa rules May be different
