It's not clear what you mean.
Do you mean they've sent a refund by cheque, but you'd have preferred to have been paid direct into your bank account?
Is the real question that you've been sent a cheque and don't know what to do with it?
With a lot of banks you can now deposit cheques using an app on your phone. Alternatively it's possible to pay cheques in (again, for most banks) via the Post Office -- though you normally need to have a pre-printed paying-in slip for that, which you might not have.
