How does UCAS have access to my IB results?

How does UCAS have access to my IB results?

I don’t get it. I submitted my UCAS application with achieved results but haven’t been asked to send in anything. Other unis outside the UK require students to submit their results via the IB portal (by paying a fee). But I see no option for UCAS and apparently they receive results without me having to authorise anything. Is this true?
