UCL Slade fine art 2024

Woke up to a rejection!

Sorry to hear those with rejections and keep us posted on where you choose - out of interest BA and home student or international? Still waiting hear and like you say just want to Move on whatever the result!

I was rejected about a week ago or so via UCAS, and it was until this Monday that they finally got back to my email saying that they can't provide any feedback for me whatsoever for having too many applications to deal with...
Feel a bit regretful applying to both Slade and Ruskin just due to its reputation.... Did not know Ruskin prefer student to do a foundation year and also hitched to much hope on Slade when its acceptance rate is merely 5%...

for me, on ucas it had a view reason button. have you checked there? i’m currently doing a foundation degree and it’s definitely worth it. you’re basically getting an extra year of taught art for free!
i get what you mean about slade and ruskin, i applied to those too and got rejected. it’s about picking yourself and using this rejection as motivation. i’m sure you’ll be successful wherever you end up
out of curiosity where abouts are you planning on going to next?

Update: rejected today for UCL. Thought might be useful for those still waiting. Had no interview offer etc. Good luck to everyone! Now choosing between Loughborough and Leeds as my first choice
