Right, I know I'm early to this buttt tbf Daisy Jones and the Six was a lot better than I expected. It had me wondering multiple times if it really was fiction and when I searched it up I found out that author actually based it loosly on a band from the time that Daisy Jones is set. I actually loved how she depicted everything and left out nothing, from the drugs and drinking to the genuine worry that Billy was going to be a bad dad.

But yeah, please everyone join in so its not just me my loves.
Enjoying it so far still not read a lot because I’ve been sick but I ordered a copy of it because I was kind of finding the layout hard to follow on my reading from my iPad. I quite like the style of it so far though it’s quite different from when I would normally read, so I’m excited to keep reading it.

I found that I felt quite lost in the first few parts of the book but somewhere that really changed and I started loving the book! I really enjoyed reading Billy’s journey. I found the reveal of the ‘author’ (this was a surprise to me, but correct me if it was mentioned earlier in the book) to be quite heartwarming and just absolutely perfect for the story. I’m definitely looking at reading some of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s other works!

AHH SO DID I, it was so random but sweet like she actually cared and wanted to know everything about what her parents were like in their younger days and stuff. It was so sweet.

exactlyyyy. it was such a wake up call to the books i normally read bc men like that dont exist in real life so its nice to see something that is true to human nature and the sturggles of human nature but then also the loyalties that lie there.

I have finally finished reading it! I really liked how flawed the characters were, it felt realistic but not depressing. I do feel like Billy and Daisy loved each other too quickly, they had chemistry but it seemed like they didn't have much talking between them apart from the songwriting and all of a sudden they were leaving the band for each other, felt more like longing or lust for something else. Still enjoyed it nonetheless!

I see where you are coming from with that because it seems there was no sharing time between then both but it could also be becuase song writers are usually at their most vulnerable when writing and so them sharing, even how brief it was, that moment to each other had them see each other in a light that they hadnt shared with anyone else. But it could also be because they saw each other in well each other and that made them fall in love faster? As though it was their missing peice but it was forbidden to become whole. I dont know I think im going to far loollll. Maybe I shouldnt have dropped lit
