Some supervisors may be willing to meet prospective students in terms of so-called informal meetings. However such 'informal meetings' wouldn't help you with whether you got into the interview stage as well as the final funding outcomes. If you completed the interview you might noticed that it was a panel interview and each academic staff had equal weights in your interview scores. Your potential supervisor didn't have much to say about the outcomes as it would be decided by the central panel if you read the information page carefully.

Alright thank you, looks like I haven’t been invited for an interview even though I’ve met all criteria. I was wondering if you think it’s a good idea for me to email ucl or if I should just wait?

Has anyone applied for a PhD at UCL this year? I've submitted an application to the EPSRC DTP and had my interview last week. I hope we can keep each other updated on our progress in this thread.

I had mine on 9th February 2024 but I haven't heard back yet as well.

Yes the EPSRC website indicates the majority of results will be communicated by early March so we will probably get our results by next week :smile:

Do you guys reckon we moved on to stage 3? It says applicants will be notified if they do not move on to stage 3; we have not been notified. I wonder if we moved on to stage 3 or if they’re still reviewing stage 2.
