Why would I be accepted to universities with higher reuirements

but be rejected by universities/courses with lower requirements.

For an example, I was accepted to Uni of Liverpool which require AAB but that is not my first choice but rejected by my first choice Chester and UCLAN which require ABB?

uni's look at different things, some may consider some parts of your applications more than others. it may also be down to if you're the right fit aswell.
you may just be better suited towards the uni of liverpool as opposed to chester/uclan, especially if you had to do an interview. if it was just based on requirements, the other unis may have been oversubscribed due to popularity etc. there are many different reasons but these are just a few.

you can ask for feedback from the unis as to why you were rejected but ultimately it is their choice.
