Bristol Uni Accommodation

Hi! I recently got a Bristol offer and am currently looking at accommodation. I'm not too worried about the cost and I care mostly about having an en-suite and being in a really sociable accommodation (not too fussed about catered vs self-catered). I would like to be near the uni in the west village but from what I've read, the north village accommodations are the most fun and I'm definitely willing to live a bit further out if it means I will have a more fun experience and am more likely to make friends. I'm basically just wondering which accommodation is best? What are the pros and cons of the North and the West Village? And which west village accommodations are the most sociable?

If someone could also give me a rundown of the north village accommodations and any good west village ones that would be great!
