Bath - modern language degree

Hii, I have been researching into bath uni and at the moment it is really appealing to me that almost all of the lectures are taught in the target language, and I was just wondering a few things and would love anyone’s help :smile:

So I am wondering how assessments are used, whether you write essays in English or in the target language too? And if so how much English is used to assess modules or how much of the target language?
I also am curious about whether there is the possibility of flexibility in terms of focusing on literature rather than history?
