According to their website they have stated that this will be the last year that the scheme will run, but they are looking for other ways to award achievement.
What do you think that they may put in place? Just wondering because I wasn't aware of this.
I got the GCSE for English Literature one, and was really proud. But my school said it wasn't an achievement, as it made it sound better than it was (i.e. It made it sound like you were one of the top 5 people, opposed to really being top 5 marks, which could be hundreds of people)
I think they should still send the letters, if only it's to let people know.
Recognition for achieving high scores is nice, but i don't think it really matters that much. I wonder roughly how many people actually get the 'top five' letter.
