I remember those! The form where you have to rate yourself out of 3 or something? It took me forever D: You take it with you and they talk about it in your interview if I remember correctly

yeah, and you have a maximum of 14 points :P Just going to wait until the next few weeks are over so I can get these prelims out the way!

Yeah, so you can't pick 3 out of 3 for everything because nobody's perfect :frown:

I asked someone to help me with it and found it much easier when I'd talked it over

Hello

I've just spoken to the nice admissions people in Stirling and they said that they won't be holding interviews for Primary Education this year, and that they are starting to read through the applications but probably noone will hear from them until the end of February/beginning of March. Well at least that's something!

really, there are no interviews this year? That's kind of a relief! Like at least we'll know straight away if we get an offer or not if you get me. (:

Yeahh I know  Well I rang them to ask when I would be likely to hear about my application, and they said they'd decided not to do interviews and would be sending offers towards the end of February... still a bit of a wait, but it's better that having the interviews in April and then waiting to hear!! Which specialism did you apply to?

I was ill on the day of my interview so I found it horrific :colondollar: if I wasn't so ill I don't think I'd have done as badly as I did but I couldn't think straight so I don't think I did myself justice, which is probably why I was rejected (though I think I must have been on the 'maybe' list since it took them forever to decide, I didn't hear back for weeks!) It was just a one-on-two interview (one of me and two of them) and we didn't really talk about anything to do with education to be honest. They kept asking about creative things though, and I think I fell down when I said I wasn't Picasso and wasn't going to pretend to be because I didn't think it was right to lie just to get a place in a university - if they didn't want me for who I am, then I don't deserve a place...

It wasn't that scary, the worst bit was the wait outside - they were running very late by the time they got to me (I hate having a name at the end of the alphabet - it means I'm ALWAYS last at interviews!) when I got in, they were really friendly and tried to put me at ease and everything, it's just unfortunate that I was ill

I don't know if they'll do it the same this year though =/

Thank you! I lived in Scotland all my life, then decided to move with family over to Northern Ireland nearly 1 and a half years ago but deciding on a Uni I had to apply for one back home and there is really only Stranmillis here which is very hard to get into.

Do you know if we are allowed que cards or if we have to say the presentation from memory?
