You guys are missing out! What about;

30 Rock? (Hilarious)
Parks and Recreation? (Amazing)
Criminal Minds? (Can be quite serious, but lovable characters)
Royal Pains? (A tad predictable, but when you watch this much television - what isn't?)
Suits? (Probably one of the highest rated shows out there)
Under the dome? (Started strong, but is becoming stranger by the episode)
Whose line is it anyway? (Restarted and simply fantastic)

I would recommend Anger Management with Charlie Sheen, but it's a bit so-so.

I'm eagerly awaiting for GoT, Grey's Anatomy and so many other shows it makes you wonder how I have time to study, go to the gym and socialize!

Besides the clearly obsessed part of the personality I have displayed here, how do you do?

Ah I love 'Whose line' so much!
Ryan and Colin are my favourites by far, but I also love Wayne.
You say it's restarted???? WHAT?!
Unless you're not referring to the US TV Series...

Also love Pretty Little Liars, Game of Thrones and a bit of Glee!

Yep! The US series! They came back for season 9 with Ryan, Colin, Wayne and then a random fourth each week! I haven't laughed this hard in a very long time! There are 10 episodes currently available, so it looks like you need to catch up

Yup, I'd rather avoid the nasty hang over! - been there, done that, got the T-shirt! When I'm not exploring a world of series I'm usually training at the gym, so staying up all night and drinking isn't really the best idea! However I will try to make some of the events to push myself out of my comfort zone... I'll just stick to a sugar high with some cola or pepsi  How about yourself?

Yep very similar, I'm not too fond on the events but I'll probably try and make them to socialise and see what it's like (even though I have social anxiety) I'll join you on the sugar high!

If anything it means we can use our sober powers for evil and convince our fellow student friends that it would be a good idea to go streaking!

Which college were you accepted into? I'm in Furness and they've got quite a few of these drinking socials :frown: But at least one is James Bond theme'd... I hope they have poker...

ahh the power we would have..like partners in crime  I'm in Lonsdale, known as the 'party college' which I was worried about and they have a lot of drinking socials planned too. Hey, we can have our own social event...p

To be honest a lot of the colleges seem to be "party colleges"... As long as they keep it in the club and don't bring it back into the halls I don't mind! Though I'll probably be getting a hold of some ear muffs, you know, just in case!

Our own social event? I hope it involves tea! Have you given much thought to any of the societies? I wonder if they have a series/movies club!

yeah that's what I've found from reading each of the colleges pages, they're all the 'best' for parties :P yes I was going to bring some ear plugs for that reason!

Of course! our social event would involve lots of tea  I think they have a cinema club but I haven't heard of any series clubs...

If the cinema club have a massive screen we should totally hijack it for the most up to date episodes! I'm sure we could convince them... The main reason I'm bringing my computer is purely to relax with shows and maybe a bit of gaming on the side! Speaking of which, since you're on an IT course you must be into PC gaming, right? Haha

It's no problem, I'm happy to help a fellow series enthusiast! My only worry, what with these amazing shows, is that you'll wind up focusing more on telly than studies!

I'll be studying Biomedical Science, so I'm hoping Grey's Anatomy comes back to give a boost for my motivation to study, haha! How about yourself?

woop for biomedical science! (Furness)

I'm a big fan of Breaking Bad (only seen up to season 3!!!!) Dexter & Game of Thrones

I used to love the sims, but I was an evil god. I built far too many pools and removed the railing... I played a lot of PvP in WoW (retail and private), but now I just dabble really... I actually took a vacation to Sweden and spent a few months gaming there prior to my Access course, crazy times! Other than that I like the classic shoot em ups, but who doesn't? Haha!

Though if you really want to find a way to fill time (other than sending drunken students to their streaking doom) I would recommend imgur or reddit, but I must warn you that both of these are HIGHLY addictive!

Oh man, you're so far behind! Breaking Bad and Dexter are truly intense series... I would recommend that you catch up before you're at uni or you may find yourself somewhat distracted... Not to mention the finale for these shows are approaching! I hate it when people ruin a show for me :frown: I can't wait for GoT to return, I think Walking Dead starts soon also?

I'm in Furness too! You're like the only other Biomed Furness student I've found! At least I know I'm not alone now, Haha!

haha same I think for specifically biomedical and furness! Are you in the facebook group for biological sciences ? There's some biomeds there but biomedicals are hard to find, particularly in furness =l lol

I'm totally up to date for dexter, and way ahead of the tv show for GoT. Yeahh got some catching up to do for breaking bad
