English Literature B A level

Hi everyone,
Can a re-creative text for my course-work be in a different time, so say it was written in 1598 but I write it in 19 something, would that be okay?

Best thing to ask your teacher - can you email them?

Yeah that'd be good! You'd need to think about what effect you'd want to be getting out by transposing the plot into a different time period and part of your commentary would probably need to discuss the contextual significance of the time you've set it in. If you have good reasons for doing this, then I don't see why not!
