Does this make you want someone more?

Imagine you're involved with someone, and like them a great deal, and all seems to be going great, only for them to end it. Does this make you want them more, at least in the short term?

How about if you subsequently get back together, only for them to end it again, messing you around, messing with your feelings.

I'm thinking of that 'Friends' Ross & Rachel situation where ross gets a gf and suddenly Rachel wants him more. Is this a thing?
No. 'Friends' isn't real life. If you mess around with a girl's feelings and then dump her, she's not going to think you're an amazing person. Grow up.
Nope. Ask yourself: Would you like it if someone toyed with your emotions time and again?
